:: Badminton Skill Rating System (BSR) This page provide badminton players with a simple self-assessment of your personal badminton skill level. Organisers who wish to use this rating system are welcome to do so. You can use the "Search members" feature on the bottom left menu to locate and join a badminton group of your standard at the place near you. Followings are the question you need to ask yourself, how consistent can you execute the shots during a game play. Translate Do you know the basic rules, line calls, scoring system and terms such as baseline, dropshot, drives etc Yes No Have you ever had formal training under a coach for at least 6 months? Yes No Have you been playing at least twice a week for the last 2 years? Yes No Are you able to hit the shuttle over the net consistently? Yes No Are you always in a good position to execute your shots? Yes No Are you able to execute high serves to the baseline and low serves towards the net area? Yes No Are you able to execute a forehand lift deep into the backcourt? Yes No Are you able to hit a forehand lob from baseline to baseline? Yes No Are you able to hit a forehand dropshot that lands before the service line? Yes No Are you able to execute a crosscourt netshot with your forehand? Yes No Are you able to execute a forehand smash? Yes No Are you able to execute a consistent low and hard forehand drive? Yes No Are you able to execute a backhand lift deep into the backcourt?
